Not even the storm could stop the crowning of the two young men.

A couple in the Philippines went ahead with their wedding ceremony despite flooding from Typhoon Doksuri on Sunday.

"BBC" has shared some images where the bride, dressed in a white dress and veil, is seen walking towards the flooded altar. Family members and other guests walk around the church in rubber boots and sandals.

Typhoon Doksuri, called by the locals Egay or Fajkoi has increased the monsoon rains and caused flooding in the Bulacan region.
