Uta Ibrahimi, the Albanian mountaineer from Kosovo, has managed to climb the second highest peak in the world, K2, rising to an altitude of 8,611 meters above sea level.
In a post on social media, Uta shared the footage of this success which he says has been prepared for a lifetime.
K2 is considered the hardest to climb although it ranks second in height after Everest. For inexperiency appeasers, but also because of human error, this mountain has often proved fatal.
"July 27 I climbed K2 8611m, the second highest, the first for difficulty
I tried to make some videos, and I said more... But like never before, tears of joy and emotion were not allowed. The words are in my throat. "A life's work to come here," she wrote on social media.
K2 is located in Kashmir, between Pakistan and China.
