Elections in Kosovo, former KLA commanders vote from The Hague

Former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army who are being held at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague have voted in the February 9 elections.

This was announced by the CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi, who said that the citizens of Kosovo have exercised their constitutional right according to the procedures and bylaws of the CEC.

"I can confirm that the citizens of Kosovo who are in the Specialist Chambers in The Hague have exercised their constitutional right and voted in the Elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, according to the procedures and bylaws of the CEC," said Elezi.

The former KLA leaders being held in The Hague are former President Hashim Thaçi, former Speakers of Parliament Kadri Veseli and Jakup Krasniqi, and former MP Rexhep Selimi.
