United States President Donald Trump said he is revoking former President Joe Biden's access to classified information.

According to this decision, Biden will have his security clearance revoked and his daily intelligence briefings will be banned.

"There is no need for Joe Biden to continue to have access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Biden's security clearances and halting his daily intelligence briefings," Trump said in a post on his Social Truth platform.

CNN writes that Trump's decision to limit Biden's access to intelligence briefings comes exactly four years after Biden made the same move against Trump, citing his "erratic behavior" before and after the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

The Republican further argued that Biden set a precedent in 2021 by instructing the intelligence community to limit Trump's access to national security details after leaving office, which the president said he sees as an unfair move.

Trump also cited former special counsel Robert Hur's report, which did not accuse Biden of a crime but painted a picture of a forgetful commander-in-chief who failed to properly protect highly sensitive classified information. "The Hur report found that Biden suffers from a 'poor memory' and, even in his 'peak,' could not be trusted with sensitive information," Trump wrote.

Trump concluded by declaring that he would prioritize protecting national security and sarcastically declared "Joe, you're fired," ending with his signature slogan, "Make America Great Again."
