The Central Election Commission (CEC) has counted 99.17 percent of the votes from 2,512 polling centers out of a total of 2,533, as of 19:10, according to which the Vetëvendosje Movement continues to lead with 40.83 percent or 339 thousand 350 votes.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) ranks second with 22.15 percent or 184 thousand and 40 votes, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) third with 17.59 percent or 146 thousand and 241 votes.

AAK-NISMA-Conservatives-Intellectuals-Ideal is ranked fourth with 7.47 percent or 62,066 votes.

Preliminary results do not include conditional votes, votes of people with special needs, and votes of the diaspora.

In the 2021 parliamentary elections, Vetëvendosje had 438,335 votes, PDK 148,285 votes, LDK 110,985 votes, and AAK 62,111 votes.

On Sunday, parliamentary elections were held in Kosovo, for the first time as regular elections, after the declaration of independence.

The Vetëvendosje Movement has already announced that it will form the sole government, while the opposition has rejected the possibility of entering a governing coalition, saying that they will form the new local executive if Albin Kurti's party fails.
