The spokesperson of the US Department of State, Matthew Miller, asks Serbia to investigate and fully clarify the murder of the three Kosovar brothers Ylli, Agron and Mehmet Bytyqi.
Through a message on the 27th anniversary of the murder of the Bytyqi brothers, DASH spokesman Matthew Miller says that Serbia must find out the perpetrators and those who covered up this brutal crime.
"24 years ago, American citizens Ylli, Agron and Mehmet Bytyqi were executed in Serbian police custody. We again call on Serbia to fully investigate this case and hold accountable those who committed and covered up this brutal act. We will continue this call until justice is served," Miller writes on Twitter.

The Albanian-American Bytyqi brothers had joined the Kosovo Liberation Army. Immediately after the end of the war, they were arrested by the Serbian police, and taken to custody where they were executed.
Their bodies were discovered in 2001 in a mass grave with 70 Albanians. The autopsy showed that they were handcuffed and with gunshot wounds to the head.
