Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic has spoken about the tense situation in the north of Kosovo, where he emphasized that he is not paying attention to the announcement of new elections.
According to the Serbian media, Vucic, while speaking about the elections in the 4 municipalities with a Serbian majority in the north of Kosovo, reiterated that the Serbian List will boycott them.
"As things stand today, I am absolutely sure that the Serbian List will boycott those elections. Of course, they will be exposed to pressure," the president warned.
He emphasized that the Kosovo Police have nothing to look for in the north of the country and if they try to forcefully enter there, "hell on earth" would happen.
"In that case, Serbia will stand by its people, while the Serbs will protect their hearths," said Vucic.
The next day, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic are expected to hold a meeting in Brussels regarding the continuation of the dialogue and a possible agreement on the re-registration of license plates.
