The President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, has tested positive for the coronavirus, three days after meeting the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.

The Austrian president, through a post on Twitter, said that after some symptoms, he tested positive for Covid-19 today.

"I tested positive for COVID-19 today and will not hold any meetings at the moment. After the symptoms, a PCR test confirmed the suspicion of COVID infection," he said.

Van der Bellen said that he is currently in good health, but will continue his work from home.

We recall that Osman was received by Van der Bellen three days ago at the Hofburg palace in Vienna.
