Trump says he will end the war in Ukraine, Putin immediately reacts
Russian President Vladimir Putin

The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has reacted after the declaration of the candidate for president in the USA, Donald Trump, that he will end the war in Ukraine.

Trump, several times, but also during the last debate with President Joe Biden, said that he will end the war in Ukraine immediately as soon as he returns to office, simultaneously blaming Biden as a weak person in relations with Russia.

However, Trump has never explained how he will end the war in Ukraine. And this is precisely why the Russian President Vladimir Putin has recently commented, saying that he "takes very seriously" Trump's statement.

"The fact that Mr. Trump as a presidential candidate says he is ready and wants to stop the war in Ukraine. We take it very seriously. However, I have not seen his ideas on how he will do this, and that is the main question. But I have no doubt that he says this sincerely and we support this," Putin said.
