An unusual event is reported from China, where an old woman used a hand grenade as a hammer for 20 years.

As foreign media reports, the elderly woman did not know the true function of the "tool" she found 20 years ago. She used the grenade so often that it was worn down from the blows.

The 90-year-old woman, Qin from Xiangyang, central China's Hubei province, was shocked to discover that the hammer was actually a hand grenade.

She thought the object was an unusual 'lump of metal' that she had found while working on her farm and taken home.

Assuming it was a hammer, the woman began using it to do various household tasks.

Thankfully, it all ended without incident when the authorities went and seized the grenade.
