Former President Donald Trump has criticized Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in his forthcoming book, accusing the tech mogul of undermining him in the last election and warning of a possible jail term.
Trump confessed to meeting Zuckerberg in the time of the 2020 election in his forthcoming book "Save America," which will be released on September 3.
"We are watching him closely and if he does anything illegal this time, he will spend the rest of his life in prison, just like others cheating in the 2024 presidential election," Trump's book to be published is written.
The 45th president has repeatedly attacked meta's boss in the past. Earlier this year he dismissed his party and expressed support for TikTok, warning that "if you get rid of TikTok, Facebook and Zuckerschmuck will double their business."
Congress later passed a bipartisan bill to force TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, to leave the popular video-sharing platform or face a ban from major app stores, the New York Post writes.
This legislation came in response to national security concerns.
