Trump signs Gaza peace deal: It took us 3,000 years to get here

"It took us 3,000 years to get here, can you believe it?" Trump said as he signed the document.

At the historic Middle East peace summit taking place in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, US President Donald Trump signed the Gaza ceasefire agreement, stating that it took three thousand years for this agreement.

"It took us 3,000 years to get here, can you believe it?" Trump said as he signed the document, expressing confidence that the agreement would be effective.

After him, other regional leaders, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, signed the document, which aims to establish peace and stop clashes in the region.

"Everybody is happy," Trump declared at the signing ceremony, thanking everyone for the support given during the ceasefire negotiations.

He added that he had experienced "big deals before ," but never one as important as this.

The American president also emphasized that predictions of a Third World War in the Middle East will not come true, thanks to this agreement.

The signing ceremony concluded with applause from the participants and hope for lasting peace in a region that has been troubled for decades.
