The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, commented on the statements of the Iranian Foreign Minister, following the latter's meeting with counterparts from three European countries.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said it is "very difficult" to ask Israel to stop the attacks, a request that has been made by Iran to the United States.
He added that, according to him, "Iran does not want to talk to Europe ," but to talk to the US.
"Europe will not be able to help at this point," Trump declared.
Asked if a decision to attack Iran would be the most difficult during his presidency, Trump replied: "I can't say now. I can tell you in a year... you can't know about these decisions."
He also added that he might support a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, depending on the circumstances. However, he described the situation as complicated.
"It's a little difficult to get someone to stop this conflict."
"Israel is managing the war very well, while I would say Iran is weaker," Trump concluded.
During a diplomatic meeting in Geneva with European representatives, Iranian officials made it clear that they will not engage in direct talks with the United States on the nuclear issue unless Israel stops its attacks on Iran.
