The well-known American actor Johnny Wactor, part of the well-known series "General Hospital", was shot dead near his home in Los Angeles.

According to American media, Wactor was with a colleague when he noticed that a person was performing suspicious actions near his car.

Not thinking it was theft and posing a danger, Wactor thought his car was being towed for wrong parking, so he approached the thief.

The latter took out his pistol and shot him without any hesitation. The 37-year-old actor was rushed to the hospital but did not survive the gunshot wound.

His manager said that Johnny Wactor "was a wonderful man who would even give you a T-shirt if you were in need".

As the author left with two other people, suspicions are that they were trying to steal the catalyst, a crime that has increased significantly recently in Los Angeles.

The actor's brother said that he did not try to attack the thieves, but started to leave, and as one of them pointed a gun at him, he defended his colleague by standing in front of him.
