Worst storm in 100 years, Florida under Hurricane Milton watch

Florida in the United States of America will be hit by a powerful category 4 hurricane.

The authorities have issued an alert for the residents of the area that will be affected by Hurricane "Milton" to leave their homes.

US President Joe Biden has also called on residents to evacuate and that they should leave as soon as possible.

"I have been briefed by senior administration leaders, and we are preparing for Hurricane Milton, which could be one of the worst storms in 100 years in Florida. If you are in areas where you need to evacuate, leave now. It's a matter of life and death," said President Biden in a statement from the White House.

Storm "Milton" strengthened to a category 4 hurricane with winds reaching speeds of over 200 kilometers per hour.

Meteorologists consider the situation very serious and will cause great damage.
