Gjakovë: 13 minor girls, with self-harm after a "challenge" on TikTok

The number of girls who allegedly hurt themselves in Gjakovë, as a result of a "challenge" on TikTok, has reached 13.

These cases include lower middle school students.

"Ten other schoolgirls were also interviewed, on the suspicion that they hurt themselves at different periods of time," the spokesperson of the Police in Gjakovë, Sheremet Elezaj told Telegrafin.

The Director of Education in Gjakovë, Miranda Kumnova-Baçi, also spoke about this topic, who confirmed that there are already 13 cases of girls who have injured themselves.

"Today, I told the principals [of the schools] that I came to check all the classes, that is. at 16:00 I received from the Police a number of up to 13 [cases]... There are 13 confirmed cases", said Kumnova-Baçi.
