Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha has spoken out about allegations by Naim Mursel's father that his son was beaten inside the prison by police officials.

Hoxha said in T7 it is forbidden for police officials to receive information through the use of force and says anyone with such claims can turn to the police and the IPK.

The Director of Police said he does not believe that Kosovo police officers have gone to such a level, as there is sufficient evidence and the case has been completed in its entirety.

"Our officials are not allowed to receive information through the use of force. It is prohibited and constitutes a criminal offence. Someone who has such claims freely contact the Police or IPK who would handle such a claim in detail. We do not encourage such actions within the police institution.

We will judge and follow the truth. I don't think our police officers have gone to this level. There was enough evidence and the case was completed in its entirety," Hoxha said.
