The Kosovar authorities have decided to extend the detention period of 3 suspects for the murder of Liridona Ademaj on November 29, her husband, Naim Murseli, as well as two other suspects.

This decision was confirmed for the Kosovo media by the spokesperson of the Basic Court of Pristina, Mirlinda Gashi, who announced that the detention of the defendants was extended from 31.12.2023 to 29.02.2024.

" After the request of the Basic Prosecution in Pristina for the continuation of the measure of detention in the criminal case against the defendants NM, GP, and KK, the Basic Court in Prishtina - Department for Serious Crimes has approved the request of the Prosecution, so that the three defendants are continued detention measure for a duration of two months, for each.

The measure of detention of the defendants has been extended from 31.12.2023 to 29.02.2024 ", the confirmation states.
