The United States has imposed sanctions on Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serbian presidency member Zelka Cvijanovic and other senior officials from Republika Srpska.

This was due to "the undermining of the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement," VOA reports.

The US Treasury Department's sanctions list included the president of the Republika Srpska Parliament, Nenad Stevandic, the entity's prime minister Radovan Viskovic and Republika Srpska's Justice Minister Milos Buković.
