Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that war will return to Russia after a drone attack in the Russian capital, Moscow. Zelensky said that attacks on Russian territory were an inevitable, natural and absolutely fair process of the war between the two countries.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that 3 Ukrainian drones had crashed on Sunday, while 2 had crashed into offices.

Officials said there were no injuries after Saturday's drone strike, and the city's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, said the facades of two office buildings were slightly damaged. Photos from the scene show that some windows were damaged in the corner of the buildings, with debris scattered on the ground below.

An eyewitness told the Reuters news agency that she could see fire and smoke.

"We heard an explosion and it was like a wave, everyone jumped. Then there was a lot of smoke and you couldn't see anything. You could see fire from above."

Flights were briefly suspended from Vnukovo Airport, southwest of the city center, and incoming planes were diverted to other airports.

In a speech on Sunday, President Zelensky said that Ukraine was getting stronger.

"Today is the 522nd day of the so-called "Special Military Operation", which the Russian leadership thought would last several weeks," he said.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Moscow would have to use a nuclear weapon if Kiev's ongoing counteroffensive was successful.

Medvedev, who is the vice president of Russia's Security Council, said on social media that there would be "no other solution" if Ukraine takes what he described as their land.

As for the war in Ukraine, started since February of last year, President Vladimir Putin in a recent press conference said that he does not oppose the idea of peace talks for Ukraine.

"I cannot stop the war when they attack us. When I say that, people start thinking. Or start peace talks. We have never rejected them. You know, I always say that we have never rejected peace talks."
