USA/ The criminal attacks the judge in the middle of the session, brutally beats

A judge in Las Vegas was attacked by a criminal during a court hearing after she decided to deny him bail.

Clark County District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus was in the middle of a court hearing when convicted sex offender Deobra Delone Redden attacked her.

Video footage shows the terrifying moment when Redden jumped from where he was standing and went to the judge's bench to shoot her. As he lunges at the shocked judge, Redden can be heard insulting her.

The police officer together with the judge tried to avoid the attack, but he jumped on both of them and started beating them brutally. Judge Holthus suffered injuries as a result of the attack and her condition is being monitored.

The police officer was also injured and had to be taken to hospital after the brutal attack.
