Bad weather invades Europe, temperatures up to -43 degrees Celsius

This new year has found Europe, a good part of it, under the power of cold, rains and floods, causing schools to remain closed even where they should have started.

Almost all of Western Europe is affected by this weather, not extreme, but not typical for this period. In the Nordic region, temperatures reached below -40 degrees Celsius this Wednesday, accompanied by cold, almost arctic winds. Even in some cities of Sweden, temperatures recorded -43.6 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature on record in Sweden for the last 25 years.

The same weather is also facing Denmark, the west of Russia, with Moscow experiencing temperatures below -30 degrees. Meanwhile, a good part of Europe is engulfed by non-stop rains.

The west of Britain is under water, as are Ireland and the Netherlands, where there are power outages, damage to homes and problems with public transport. The same situation is reported in Germany and France, where the rain seems to have no intention of stopping, as well as the temperatures, significantly cold, even bitter.
