Moscow mocks the European trio in Kiev

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev mocked the visit of three European leaders to Kiev, calling them useless in a Twitter post, citing national stereotypes.

"European fans of frogs, sausages and spaghetti want to visit Kiev," he wrote in English, alluding to French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi.

Medvedev was president of Russia from 2008 to 2012 and is currently deputy chairman of the National Security Council.

Since the beginning of the Russian occupation, he has ridiculed the statements of European politicians on his Twitter account.

"The visit of European leaders is of no use. They promised Ukraine EU membership and old weapons, and traveled by train, as they did 100 years ago.

Yes, this will not bring Ukraine closer to peace. "The clock is ticking," he added on Twitter.
