The video of a German police officer who utters racist insults to a person is making the rounds of the network. The news has caused a great deal of controversy in the German media.

According to the BILD newspaper, the authorities have launched an investigation against the police officer in question. The video was shot by the abused person. " Take this cell phone away from me ... ", says the policeman in uniform. Once the person objects, he reacts again. " It simply came to our notice then. I better leave because I will forget. " Go away, go back to that place of your pigs ", says the policeman.

According to broadcaster Hessen Schau, the incident happened in 2020. The video of the 34-year-old police officer was initially posted on YouTube, but passed without a hitch. When the video was reposted on TikTok, it went viral.

German media write that the victim of racism is an Albanian, who is currently in Albania. He has not filed a lawsuit, but authorities have urged him to do so.

Although the Albanian is thought to have been problematic, police say such behavior from blue uniforms is completely unacceptable. " Even in the most difficult situations, we must remain calm ," said a police spokesman.
