Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may visit the White House this Wednesday. The American media CNN says that talks are underway for Zelensky to meet with President Joe Biden tomorrow.
This is an unexpected visit that coincides with the new aid package that the American president has signed for Ukraine. It includes Patriot missile systems, among the most intelligent for intercepting and shooting down aerial vehicles.
The plan for the visit has been finalized due to security concerns, as it would mark Zelensky's first trip outside Ukraine since the Russian occupation began in February this year.
The White House declined to comment on a possible visit or Biden's announcement, but CNN says its sources are people involved in planning the meeting.
