Voting process in Kosovo closes, CEC: Results will be out very soon

Kosovo voted this Sunday for the parliamentary elections. Polling stations opened at 07:00 and closed this afternoon, at 19:00.

Over 2 million citizens, inside and outside Kosovo, had the right to vote.

CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi said in a press conference that preliminary results will be known "much sooner."

Voter turnout as of 3:00 p.m. was 28.32%, according to the CEC. The elections were generally considered peaceful with minor and isolated incidents.
