Four days from the total solar eclipse, conspiracy theories explode online

We are four days away from a total solar eclipse, a rare event that will unfortunately not be visible from Europe.

But as always, on the eve of such rare events, there is no way not to explode the many conspiracy theories.

In the social network "X", as well as in "Reddit", hundreds of users believe that April 8 will be a dark date where "many human sacrifices will be made".

Also, they have interpreted the date April 8 by connecting it with the day of the blooming of water lily flowers, and with the Year of the Dragon in China.

Some conspiracy theorists have even called on their followers on social media to prepare by taking extra food and backup water in case of a major technological blackout.

It must be said that these theories have no relation to any scientific fact, while NASA is concerned for those who will observe the eclipse to protect their sight.

The eclipse will be visible in Mexico, the US and Canada.
