The Albanian author of the cruel murder of his girlfriend arrived at the Court of Piraeus shortly after 10:30 in the morning under strong security measures and stayed in the investigation office for more than 2 hours.
The prosecutor accused him of intentional homicide in a calm state of mind, while his lawyer emphasized that the 25-year-old is remorseful and crushed by the tragic murder.
"He asked for and was given a deadline to apologize. He expressed his regret. He is devastated. I would not like to make a premature statement whether or not he used drugs", said the author's lawyer, Mr. Christos Divanidis.
According to the information, the 25-year-old claims that both he and the victim had outbursts of jealousy and that the cause of the fatal fight that ended in murder was a message he had seen on his mobile phone.
We remind you that after the crime, the 25-year-old voluntarily appeared at the police station and surrendered, confessing that he killed his partner. He claimed to the officers that he was jealous of the 19-year-old and that he had used cocaine, before he took the gun and shot her twice in the head.
"I came to surrender. I killed my partner. She died at home", the young man reportedly told the police.
