The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said through a statement to the media that now that the parties have agreed on the annex to the basic agreement, the commitments of the allies regarding Kosovo's membership in international organizations, as well as recognition by non-recognizing countries, are expected to be fulfilled.

"Now that the annex to the basic agreement was agreed upon and Kosovo proved to be the only party in the dialogue that was constructive and interested in peace and stability, I expect the commitments of our allies to be fulfilled regarding Kosovo's membership in international organizations such as and for recognition by non-recognizing states ", Osmani said.

"They will continue to violate the agreed agreements, as they have done these 12 years. If we want the real implementation of the agreement, the accommodative approach to the Serbian regime must be changed and their every attempt to destabilize the situation on the ground must be penalized, as well as their unconstructiveness and continuous blockade".

Haradinaj applauds the agreement: Kosovo, towards NATO and the EU

Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, said the best words about the Ohrid agreement, during a meeting with the diaspora in Switzerland. Expectations for Kosovo in NATO and the EU are more secure thanks to the allies, he said.

"We have an agreement, which most are criticizing. But don't forget, the issue of good relations with Serbia is not our main concern. We want peace with Serbia, while we want good relations with America, Europe. Americans welcome Kosovo's request for NATO membership. Our road to the EU has been impossible without yesterday. We are waiting for our candidacy for the Council of Europe, we are waiting for the status of a candidate country, we are waiting for the liberalization of visas, and not only that, we are also waiting for investments", said Haradinaj during a meeting in Switzerland with members of the diaspora.
