Germany, appeal to Serbia: Remove the barricades in the north of Kosovo before

The German ambassador in Pristina, Jorn Rode, has called for the barricades in the north of the Republic of Kosovo to be removed before Christmas.

He added that Belgrade's request for the return of Serbian forces to the Republic of Kosovo is "absurd and unacceptable".

Rode further said that the barricades should be removed as soon as possible: "Our position is clear. They are illegal and whoever posted them should remove them as soon as possible. KFOR is here and provides a safe environment and free movement. Therefore, I am optimistic that it will be realized, I hope as soon as possible, because the last thing we need is the further escalation of the situation".
