Kosovo has complied with the law and the Constitution, with the closure of five parallel Serb municipalities in the north, security experts estimate.

Professor Avni Islami spoke to KosovaPress, who considers the police action as a good test for Kosovo and the international community.

"Yesterday's operation of Kosovo security institutions in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Government Administration is in the thing of the implementation of the law and constitution of the Republic of Kosovo of previous agreements, where through Kosovo and Serbia an agreement was signed that illegal parallel structures be extinguished."

The reactions of foreign representatives, on behalf of the US, Great Britain and the European Union who asked Kosovo to show caution in making decisions by having consultations with unwavering friends, there is a discrepancy with the security connoissors.

"And when it is taken into account that the state of Kosovo is implementing the law and the Constitution of the country and such agreements, then all these tensions that some countries of the international community are trying to artificially raise concerns, conflict with what was signed and what they said before.

Therefore, yesterday was a good test for the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and for the internationals themselves, because what the internationals said did not turn out to be so, because Serb citizens of northern Kosovo and other communities are interested in being citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and to implement the laws of this country.
