Iran has issued a stark warning to Europe, saying the bloc will "pay the price" for its silence on US-Israeli attacks on Iran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei criticized what he called a lack of reaction from European countries, arguing that their silence amounted to approval.
He said EU countries will "pay the price, sooner or later," adding that Iran considers the actions of America and Israel to be against international law.
Baghaei's comments come as fighting between the US, Israel and Iran entered its sixth day today, with more countries suffering from attacks.
Israel and Iran exchanged fresh attacks overnight, with Iran's military saying it launched several long-range Arash attack drones, claiming they hit fuel tanks at Ramat David Air Base in Israel.
Meanwhile, several Israeli airstrikes near the Lebanese capital have left eight dead and six wounded. Lebanese media reported that the attacks hit a road leading to Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport, citing the country's health ministry.
This morning, a tanker ship sailing off the coast of Kuwait was rocked by a 'huge explosion' and several drones hit a terminal building at Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan International Airport, while another landed near a school building in the village of Shakarabad, injuring two people.
Azerbaijan said Iran was responsible for the attack, which they deny, instead blaming Israel for the attacks.
