Prime Minister Edi Rama, on his way to Budva for the Berlin Process Summit, answered questions from a student.

Given the student protests that have occupied the streets of Tirana and several cities in Albania for the ninth consecutive day, Rama has expressed his openness to dialogue, but not with the perpetrators.

The head of government then focused on the Zvërnec issue, which was the spark for the launch of the "Flamingove" protest, saying that he has always been open to dialogue.

Responding to the student's question about officials from the socialist camp who are facing justice today, Rama reiterated the phrase that he has never protected anyone from the "sword of justice."

Rama is traveling to Budva, Montenegro, where he will participate in the Berlin Process Leaders Summit, which will take place on October 21-22, 2026.

The summit will bring together leaders of the Western Balkans and European partners, with a focus on strengthening regional cooperation, economic integration and advancing the European perspective of the countries in the region.
