The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, did not welcome the vote of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization, which today recognized the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica, through the adoption of a resolution.

As the result in favor of the resolution was announced, the Serbian leader who was present at the session, threw the flag of Serbia in his arms, an action that was considered inappropriate by the other attendees.

Although he was asked to take the flag off his shoulders, he said that "no one in the world" can take it from him.

The resolution, which proposes that July 11 be declared the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Srebrenica Genocide, and condemns genocide denial and the glorification of war criminals, was sponsored by thirty countries.

The countries that officially proposed it were Germany and Rwanda, while all the countries of the Western Balkans, except Serbia and the Serbian entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Republika Srpska, have come out in support of it.
