Forensic medicine in Italy has released the autopsy for the death of three young people, among them two Albanians, in a car accident, which happened at midnight on December 8 last year. It is about the three 20-year-olds, Altin Hoti, who was also the driver of the car, Egli Gjeci and the Italian girl Guilia Di Tillio.
According to the Italian media, 'they had not fastened their seat belts and had consumed alcohol and psychotropic substances, hashish or marijuana.' This is the result of the analyzes entrusted to the doctor Antonello Cirnelli.
The autopsy immediately established that the three young men died of drowning, but the Pordenone prosecutor's office requested an additional report to verify the presence or absence of alcoholic substances and drugs in the blood of the three.
The investigation has been completed and the doctor has submitted the results to the prosecutor who will now probably prepare to close the case since there are no suspects in the file.
The tests showed that Hoti and Gjeci had drunk alcohol and smoked hashish or marijuana that night. The girl, Giulia Di Tillio, tested negative for alcohol and positive for psychotropic substances.
The serious accident happened around 3 am on December 8, where the young people were returning home after going out together. And it was at that moment that the fatal collision occurred. The car was traveling at high speed and ended up off the road, in the river and on the asphalt there is no sign of braking.
The owner of the car was Altin Hoti (22 years old) and apparently he was the one who was driving the vehicle at the time of the tragedy. His girlfriend Giulia Di Tillio (21 years old from Portogruaro) was an artistic gymnastics teacher and would soon graduate in Economics. Egli Gjeci, 20, had been a player for the Portogruaro soccer team and worked as a factory worker in Cordovado.
Six months ago, the Hoti family was hit by another tragedy: Admir, Altini's eighteen-year-old brother, also died in a car accident.
