Father sexually abuses daughter, forces friend to open grave and kill himself

The unusual event comes from Russia. A father who forced his best friend to kill himself after discovering he had sexually abused his daughter has been released from prison after just six months.

The 35-year-old, Vyacheslav (Slava) Matrosov, was sentenced to 18 months in prison but was released 1 year later. There were people in Russia who supported the father who forced 32-year-old Oleg Sviridov to dig his own grave in a forest.

"Daily Mail" writes that the pedophile died immediately after a fight with Matrosov, who secretly buried his corpse in an unmarked grave.

Investigators concluded that Sviridov had repeatedly sexually abused Matrosov's then 6-year-old daughter. Matrosov was initially held on suspicion of murder, but this sparked a public outcry in Russia.

In April he was convicted of 'inciting' his friend to 'suicide' by the Krasnoglinsky Court in Samara. As a result, he was sentenced to 18 months in a high-security Russian penal colony, but this term has now been shortened.

According to the "Daily Mail", the close friendship was broken when the father found disgusting and graphic footage on his friend's mobile phone, which showed Sviridov forcing his daughter to perform a sexual act on him.

The girl, now nine, was heard pleading: “Oleg, enough, I can't take it anymore. I want to go home".

Matrosov, a former rocket engine factory worker, could have been sentenced to 15 years in prison if charged with murder. But there was a wave of public support in the Samara region for Matrovov after he was linked to the murder of the pedophile Sviridov and the case was highlighted around the world.

Locals in the village of Pribrezhnoye collected money for his initial legal fees. Meanwhile, a petition signed by 2,500 people called for his full release.
