Gerian Kuka, the businessman under investigation by SPAK, Agim Zeqo and Ilir Shtufi gain the status of strategic investor in Korça

The government has granted the status of strategic investor to "Investment and Development Albania" for the construction of a luxury hotel in Korça, making available 10 thousand square meters of state property.

"The mentioned property is made available for the development and implementation of the strategic investment project "Green House Korça Resort", with the investment entity "Investment and Development Albania", sh.pk, with NUIS L91703053C," the government decision states.

According to the database, opencorporate.al, the company is owned by businessmen Agim Zeqo, the former president of Skënderbeu sports club, who is the largest shareholder with 40% of the shares, and partners Gerian Kuka and Ilir Shtufi, who respectively have 30% of the shares.

On 01/02/2023, the Committee of Strategic Investments, with decision no. 29/4, approved the status "Investment/strategic investor special procedure", for the "GREEN HOUSE KORCA RESORT" investment project, which foresees the realization of the investment in the strategic tourism sector.

This project will be developed by the entity "Investment and Development Albania" NUIS L91703053C and foresees the construction of a resort, which will consist of a hotel with a total capacity of 94 (ninety-four) rooms, restaurants, bars, SP.

The investment value of the "Green House Korça Resort" investment project is expected to be 18,106,741 (eighteen million one hundred six thousand seven hundred and forty one) Euros. The status "Investment/Strategic Investor Assisted Procedure" is granted to the investment project "Green House Korça Resort", for a period of 4 (four) years.
