Another of the 14 wanted for drugs being sold in Tirana schools has ended up in handcuffs.

Police have arrested 28-year-old Orges Ferazini, part of a group of 52 identified drug dealers. Two illegal pistols, cartridges, 363 grams of cocaine divided into 235 doses and an electronic scale were found in his apartment.

According to the police, the 52 distributors were organized into 8 groups with at least 3-4 members, who distributed heroin and cocaine near 9-year schools and high schools. Among the 38 arrested, there are also 5 suppliers, one of them identified as Ferit Xhani, who connected with each other when their supply ran out.

To avoid being caught by the police, the groups distributed the drugs on skateboards, taxis, or pizza motorbikes. Among them is suspected to be former police officer Engrid Henaj, who was expelled from the police force for theft in 2017.

Other favorite areas for distributors were Lapraka, Braka, near the "313" prison, Selita, Yzberishti, Tregu Elektrik and Qyteti Studenti, almost a distribution in most of Tirana.

To hit these groups, undercover agents made simulated purchases.

The 28-year-old man who was carrying illegal items in his apartment, wanted as part of the "Clean Schools" operation, has been arrested and charged with selling narcotics near educational institutions in the capital.

Following the administration of information obtained during operational work, on the location of a citizen declared wanted within the framework of the coded operation "Clean Schools", who was also suspected of having firearms and narcotics in his apartment, the services of Police Commissariat No. 3, in cooperation with specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section, organized the work.

As a result of the intervention in the premises of the apartment on "Rreshit Petrela" street, the Police services arrested the suspect, citizen OF, 28 years old, resident of Tirana, in flagrante delicto.

They also found 2 firearms (pistols) and combat ammunition in the apartment, which he possessed without permission, 363 grams of suspected cocaine, divided into 235 doses, suspected of being intended for sale, as well as 1 electronic scale.

The 28-year-old was wanted after the Tirana Court assigned him, within the framework of the operation codenamed "Clean Schools", the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

Work is underway to uncover and document the 28-year-old's involvement in criminal activity, as well as to capture all citizens wanted in the framework of the operation codenamed "Clean Schools".

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
