The Baze Meros
Within the opposition, a debate has been launched on the failure and the continuation of the "anti-Veliaj" protests.
This is the first case in the history of a world opposition, where for the ban or continuation of protests, not the party they are protesting against, but the protesters themselves.
Since the beginning of the protests, although it was seen that they were not protests, but were deburred by the willing group of penxheres, I stressed that they were a fate for Veliaj, as apart from strengthening him politically, gave him the opportunity to make a difference between the citizens of Tirana and the willing group of penxheres.
However, their failure has not come simply from the fact that you cannot find people angry with the Municipality, or with Veliaj. If that was the focus, and there could be at least a few times the 20 people who go every Friday and Tuesday, as those who once attended night school.
The problem is that the agenda of anti-Veliaj protests is deceitful and does not represent the opposition's cause against the Municipality. If you listen to the speeches of those who speak in front of the Municipality, you can create the idea that Erion Veliaj is the Prime Minister of Albania because there is protest for everything that comes to their minds.
The speakers more or less say that "in Albania people are fleeing, Albania is emptying", Erion Veliaj resigns" "In Albania is being stolen with PPL and concessions, to resign Erion Veliaj", "in Albania there is crime with politics connections, to resign Erion Veliaj", "in Albania the media is controlled, Erion Veliaj resigns", "In Albania the former deputy prime minister is denouncing corruption, to resign Erion Veliaj", "in Albania the directors are stealing with clientelistic businessmen and tendrils, to resign Erion Veliaj"...
People have heard this regularly and voted for Edi Rame, and they will continue to vote for him again.
But the problem that the opposition has with these protests is its powerlessness to confront the government, and someone, some strategist, thought to "catch what we catch" and to fall Veliaj, because maybe the government helps us.
They also lost the chance to bring down the veliaj and to make normal opposition.
Of course, the voices that say should be stopped is rational, but it's not actually in Veliaj's interest. As they have become, they are the only political medicine for Veliaj.
I am a lot like those who insist on continuing. They discover precisely the false agenda against the Municipality because of the powerlessness they have to face the government. And since they've taken over and maybe even got some money for this job, now they don't want to give up enough to spend money.
How they have been made good is that Veliaj will also give them money, since he has come to know that he buys these opposition ones, and pushes this summer before the Municipality. In September, they were lucky. They and their leaders. Maybe they're out of the city hall, and from the undergrowth.
