Sali Berisha commented on the tensions in front of the DP headquarters.

"The man who is trying to choose a place of political asylum, I tell him here that the only place of asylum will be a prison cell. Today, he spreads through his network in protest, spreading the news that we cannot take the Prime Minister's Office, so the two headquarters of the major parties must be attacked.

He therefore took and introduced three inspectorates, thugs equipped with clubs and other tools, into his party. The scenario failed, because no one followed Rama's initiators, or followers. He failed to bring the protesters who expressed their hatred for the criminal party. Of course, they had no motive to come. 

Now that the project failed, they tried to have the DP headquarters attacked from 8:30-9:30. The real people in the protest could not be manipulated. They abandoned Edi Rama's ideology en masse. This time when they failed, the hour came and when they saw that the scenario was not being realized, the police in the most vengeful way violated the territory of the Democratic Party, in violation of the law and the Constitution.

Not only are they throwing large quantities of gas canisters, without any motive, just the DP's retaliation for the failure of their scenario. They have poisoned the people and you saw it for yourself. There has been no attempt by any protester to do the slightest damage to this party. I warn Edi Rama that they will be held personally responsible as slanderous manipulators who do everything within the protest against the protest. The Democrats are in civil disobedience more than ever. And not only in Tirana.

"Every minor who is attacked is a minor and will be protected by the Democratic Party. Those who attack minors violate the laws and the Constitution of the country. I congratulate the Democrats who take minors into their protection," Berisha said.
