Sokol Mjacaj, the killer of Arben Lleshi inside Peqin prison, has refused the status of associate of justice.
In front of the investigators, who are working to clarify the motives of the event, Mjacaj has chosen to remain silent.
This has increased the suspicions that Mjacaj may have been ordered by third parties to commit the murder of Lleshi.
The latter was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing and burning the body of a compatriot in Great Britain.
The investigators have focused on how the sawmill pistol used by Mjacaj entered the prison premises as well as on the fact that in June of this year, a mobile phone was found in Mjacaj's cell.
For this serious event, 13 officials of the prison of Peqin, including the commanding director, Kamber Hoxha, ended up in handcuffs.
