Murder of Valter Fierza, another 22-year-old wanted man arrested

Shkodra police have arrested another accomplice of the perpetrator of the murder of Valter Fierza, an event that occurred on September 21st of last year.

Police say they have arrested a 22-year-old man wanted in connection with the incident. Police say they also found a knife on him.

"The Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on the 21-year-old, for the criminal offenses "Failure to report a crime", "Supporting the perpetrator of a crime", and "Production and sale of narcotics". The 22-year-old was wanted as a suspected accomplice in connection with the incident that occurred on 21.09.2023, in the village of Hot i Ri, where due to a momentary conflict, outside a bar, citizen VF was killed with a firearm. A cutting tool (knife) that he had with him was seized as material evidence," the police announced.

We recall that Enton Dushaj was previously arrested in connection with this incident on the same charges as the 22-year-old.

Meanwhile, the suspected perpetrator of the incident is Klodian Mhilli. According to the police, the latter had a conflict in the bar of the village of Hot i Ri with the victim's brother, Kol Fierza, and the cause was the parking of a vehicle.

After the fight, Mhilli went to the apartment. He took the Kalashnikov and returned to the scene. He shot at 33-year-old Valter Fierza, who was walking towards the bar. 

It was the family members who found Fierza on the street with no signs of life after she could not survive the injuries she received. The perpetrator and the victim were neighbors of each other and the 33-year-old was not known to be a problematic person.
