Regarding a video published on social networks, Tirana Police informs that on 05.12.2024, on "Myslym Keta" street, an accident occurred involving two vehicles, while one of them fled.

The traffic patrol arrived at the scene and made contact with the driver RN, while a short while later the other vehicle involved in the accident returned with citizen F.GJ, who began arguing with the driver of the other vehicle.

Police services intervened to calm the situation, but at that moment, according to the police, citizen F. Gj. began to insult the officers, and during the attempt to neutralize him, he disobeyed orders and punched a police officer.

Afterwards, the driver of the vehicle, citizen F. Gj., was escorted to the police station where he was given an alcohol test, which resulted in:

First test: 0.82 mg/l – Second test: 0.66 mg/l – Third test: 0.71 mg/l.
Following the actions, he was arrested for the criminal offenses of “Hitting due to duty”, “Threat due to duty”, and “Driving vehicles in an irregular manner”.

The Police Officer, as a result of the injuries sustained from the blows of citizen F. GJ., is in a 10-day medical report regime.

In this case, the Tirana Local Police Directorate has issued a notice of the arrest of this citizen on 06.12.2024, in the daily summary.
