The Greek weekly newspaper "Documento" by renowned investigative journalist Kostas Vaxevanis, has dedicated a long article today to the "Sky ECC" dossier that led to the arrest of a Greek police officer, who previously served in the anti-drugs department, as well as two traffickers, the Greek K. G and the 45-year-old Albanian Sandër Pemaj, currently convicted of trafficking about 1.2 tons of cocaine from the Caribbean to Greece.

The report by journalists Myrto Mpoutsi and Giannis Tsakarisianos sheds light on the activities of the criminal group, which faces many charges.

In a conversation, K. G. states that "their man" in Marusi "will become the boss in 5 years", while in August 2020, Albanian Sandër Pemaj predicts that with Marusi's coverage of S. T. (an officer who is being pursued at large for this matter) and another person, they will become... "kings of Athens".

Conversations translated from Greek:

Sandër Pemaj: By the end of September we will be kings of Athens

Sandër Pemaj: I give you the floor

K. G: Makar ore my brother

Sandër Pemaj: We'll also need the kids for coverage

K. G: And Marus and his friend

K. G: They are with us brothers in everything.

They also communicate about a case that has gone to court, with defendants known to them. They talk about a police officer named A. T., then serving with the Athens Anti-Drugs Department, who was subordinate to S. T., whom the interlocutors call "Marusi".

K. G: What is this?

Sandër Pemaj: Policeman

Sandër Pemaj: I T. (his last name)

Sandër Pemaj: Tell me S. (Officer S. T)

Sandër Pemaj: It's his.

Sandër Pemaj: For Eni (the accused)

Sandër Pemaj: September 11

Sandër Pemaj: Going to court

K. G: What should S. (officer S. T) do?

K. G: What does A. (policeman A. T) say to you?

Sandër Pemaj: Don't speak ill of you in Court

The conversation continues…

Sandër Pemaj: Oh tyranny...

Sandër Pemaj: Do you remember?

Sandër Pemaj: Who was caught with the godfather

K. G: The shortest one from Menidhi?

K. G: Yes, brother, I understand who you're talking about. I remember that guy, a good guy. Yes, I'll tell S. He'll come on Monday and find out. I have a meeting on Monday.

Sandër Pemaj had contact with 80 people!

Sandër Pemaj, 45 years old, has been imprisoned since January 24, 2020 as part of a group that trafficked approximately 1.2 tons from the Caribbean to Greece.

He was sentenced to life imprisonment by the first instance court, but in September of this year, the Appeals Court reduced his sentence to 15 years and 4 months. According to the Greek newspaper "Documento", he was initially in Malandrino prison and recently in Koridhalos prison.

From March 2020 to March 2021, he was a user of "Sky ECC" where he had a leadership role within Malandrino prison. Even one of his codes was "Malandr01", as revealed in today's article by Greek journalists Myrto Mpoutsi and Giannis Tsakarisianos.

During this period he trafficked large amounts of drugs, having contact with at least 80 people. In the recently investigated file he is held responsible only for episodes involving him, the Greek K. G. and the police officer Ilia T., while the other episodes are apparently still being investigated.

In one of the communications with K. G, they discuss a shipment of 100 kg of cocaine.

Conversation in Greek translated:

Sandër Pemaj: I am … in ataxia (conversations with photos from the load continue).

K. G: Where did they catch them?

Sandër Pemaj: Where he stopped for transit

Sandër Pemaj: God willing, they will arrive in Germany this week

K. G: Don't go...

Sandër Pemaj: They have overcome the danger

Sandër Pemaj: 100 are

K. G: Tell me to arrange to bring them.

Who is Sandër Pemaj?

45-year-old Sandër Pemaj is considered one of the "heads" of Albanian criminal groups in Greece. In February 2010, he was involved in an armed clash with Greek police along with another Albanian, Marian Kola, who escaped from Trikallas prison in 2013 and was later killed by Greek police on the Greek-Albanian border.

During the exchange of fire in Virona in 2010, where 5 grenades were also thrown, 25-year-old Albanian Nikolla Todi was accidentally killed and 2 police officers were injured. Pemaj and Kola were arrested after the incident. While Kola escaped and was killed, Pemaj was released from prison after several years.

Pemaj has a criminal record in Greece dating back to 2000, having been arrested five times for armed robbery, drugs and attempted murder up until 2010. He had violated his prison sentence three times. In 2015, Pemaj was arrested again as part of a criminal group that trafficked heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

A total of 20 people were arrested, including a police officer who was informing them about the operations. Again, Pemaj was quickly released, only to be arrested again in 2020 for trafficking about 1.2 tons of cocaine.
