The High Judicial Council dismisses the Special Commission for the Verification of Character and allows the race for the Anti-Corruption Court of Judge Gerd Hoxha to continue.
As reported by Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha's sources, the members of the Supreme Court voted 7 in favor and 3 against.
During today's meeting, the Council granted Judge Hoxha the right, based on the Constitutional Court's order, to continue the race as a candidate for the GJKKO.
With this decision, the Council qualified him, overturning the decision of the SPAK Special Commission (Behar Dibra, Ened Nakuci, Elton Kërluku), which had decided not to allow the judge to continue the competition towards the GJKKO, because according to them, the judge was unsuitable to continue the competition at the GJKKO.
For this decision, they used a photograph taken at the British Embassy party, where Judge Hoxha, who was invited among many dignitaries, shook hands with Mayor Erjon Veliaj.
