Andrea Kalemi alias Adriatik Kalemi is the cousin of Aleksandër Sadikaj who was killed two years ago.

The police today arrested Kalem, whose father was killed in an assassination attempt in Memaliaj, just a few weeks ago. An arsenal of weapons was also found in Andrea Kalemi's apartment, as it seems he was preparing for any possible revenge after his father's murder.

In Adriatik Kalemaj's apartment, the police found 1 automatic firearm, 1 shotgun, 1 cartridge necklace, combat cartridges, 2 silencers, 1 bulletproof vest, 40,145 euros, 438,550 new lek and 3,470 dollars. According to the police, the 52-year-old was arrested in the act for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

51-year-old Kalemi was assassinated in Greece in August 2023 while he was on vacation with his family. He was shot 10 times in the harbor of Lakkas, on the island of Paxos.

The Greek police then reported that it was an assassination attempt to wash accounts and reported that the assassin was an Albanian who came from Italy.

On August 5, 2023, Kalemi had passed through Kakavija with his wife and 3 children, while he is a person with significant criminal records.
