As part of the operation carried out in Memaliaj, in the residence of the citizen JK, the Police caught and arrested the wanted citizen E. B alias AB, 45 years old, resident in Tirana.

The Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana has assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", carried out in cooperation, and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". In 2022, this citizen, in collaboration with 2 others, is suspected of being the perpetrators of the murder of the EP citizen.

Following the procedural actions, the Section for the Investigation of Serious Crimes arrested the citizen JK, 42 years old, who sheltered the wanted citizen.

The operation continued in Memaliaj, carrying out a search in the residence of the AK citizen. During the search, the police services found and seized as material evidence, 1 automatic firearm, 1 shotgun, 1 cartridge necklace, combat cartridges, 2 silencers, 1 bulletproof vest, 40,145 euros, 438,550 new lek and 3,470 dollars. .

The AK citizen, 52 years old, was arrested in the act for the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër, for further actions.
