The 39-year-old Turkish man rented an Audi in Germany, came to Albania and gave the car to Elvis Kosova and then reported that it was stolen.

He made a false report, for profit purposes, about the theft of an "Audi" type vehicle which he had rented in Germany, the suspected author is arrested. 

The 38-year-old man who took the vehicle is also arrested and the owner of the apartment where the vehicle was found parked is wanted. 

Services of Police Station No. 1 and those of Police Station No. 6, following the work to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, the attack on criminal activities in the field of property theft and in any form of their manifestation, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "R 8".

As a result, citizens YE, 39 years old, resident in Germany, and EK, 38 years old, resident in Tirana, were arrested. Efforts are also being made to arrest citizen JH, 20 years old, resident of Prush.

Citizen YE rented an "Audi" type vehicle in Germany, which he brought to Albania and then made a false report that it was stolen near a hotel in Tirana. From the verifications carried out, it was found that this citizen gave the vehicle to the citizen EK, and made a false report about its theft, for profit purposes.

During the search in the yard of a house in the village of Prush, an "Audi" type vehicle was found parked, which was seized as material evidence, along with 4 mobile phones.   

The work continues for the capture of the citizen JH, who had hidden the vehicle in the yard of his apartment.

The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions, the police announced.
