The accident in Saranda-Delvina

The police have provided information about the serious accident that occurred this evening on the Delvina-Saranda road axis, where the two sisters from the village of Kopaçez in Delvina lost their lives.

They are Ela Dhimaku, 22 years old, and the passenger, her sister Rezi Dhimaku, 20 years old, who were in the "Lancia" type car when they were allegedly hit "head-on" by a 23-year-old man with an "Audi".

Another girl who was in the car with the two victims was also injured, citizen Antonela Zhupa, 24 years old, who was transported to the Saranda hospital.

Delvina/Preliminary information from the police:

Today, around 20:15, on the Delvina-Saranda road axis, citizen KN, 23 years old, driving an "Audi" type vehicle, collided with a "Lancia" type vehicle, driven by citizen E. Dh.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the "Lancia" vehicle, citizen E. Dh., 22 years old, together with the passenger citizen RDH, 20 years old, lost their lives, while the other passenger in this vehicle, citizen AZ, 24 years old, was injured and is under the care of doctors.

The investigative group is at the scene and is carrying out actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
