Fight between two Albanian families in Italy, five injured

A physical fight took place between two Albanian families in the center of Cassano delle Murge, in the province of Bari, Italy. According to the carabinieri, the conflict allegedly broke out for weak motives, including several members of the two families who fought with each other.

At the end of the fight, six men were detained by the authorities, while five of them, aged between 27 and 66, suffered injuries. Three of them were taken to the hospital with more serious injuries, while two others received lighter injuries.

The Court of Bari has imposed the "house arrest" security measure for all six detainees, while the police continue the investigations to clarify the exact causes that led to this violent clash.
